Many health insurance plans cover nutrition visits, often with little or no out-of-pocket cost to you, though every plan is unique.

Since each plan’s coverage is unique and ultimately between you and your insurance provider, it’s a good idea to check your specific benefits. To make it easier, you can use our insurance benefits verification form, and our team is always here to support you with any questions!

Coverage varies widely between plans, so you may or may not have a copay for nutrition services. If a copay applies, our services usually fall under a specialist copay.

We accept major credit cards, Health Savings Accounts (HSA), and Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA), and Zelle Payments in addition to insurance. We also offer payment plans for those who need more flexible options.

Our virtual appointments are conducted through a secure, HIPAA-compliant platform. You will receive a link prior to your appointment. Virtual visits are convenient and allow us to provide the same personalized care as in-person visits.

A referral from your healthcare provider is required for ALL patients, regardless of pay type. You can just simply bring our Referral Form to your provide and have them complete. This is different than an authorization, which is something required for patients that have an HMO or IPA managed health plan. Not sure what you need? Contact us!

Your first appointment, which will be 1-2 hours long,  will include a comprehensive nutrition assessment, where we will discuss your medical history, dietary habits, and health goals. Based on this, we’ll create a personalized nutrition plan to support your journey toward better health.

The initial consultation typically lasts about 1 ½ – 2 hours, some insurance plans only allow for 1 hour.

Follow Up visits are 30-60 minutes, depending on your needs.

The frequency of visits depends on your health goals and needs. Some patients benefit from weekly sessions initially, while others may only need monthly check-ins. We will discuss this with you during your first visit and adjust as needed throughout your journey.
